All information for this site has been kindly provided by Krisztina Teleki and Zsuzsa Majer who retain copyright. This monastery belongs to the Red Stream (Nyingmapa). The main object of worship is Padmasambhava (Lovon Badamjunai, T. slob-dpon pad-ma ‘byung-gnas). The monastery has zod (T. gcod) and lüijin (T. lus-sbyin) practices, as is usual in all Red Stream monasteries. The monastery was founded in 2006, but the temple building was completed a bit later. The monastery has a plan to build a complex with 108 stupas and six temples. Regarding the monthly ceremonies of the monastery, Yandan yadamiin chogo (T. yang-gsang yi-dam-gyi cho-ga) is held on the 2nd day of the lunar month. On the 8th Ikh Manal ceremony is held in honour of the Medicine Buddha (T. sman-bla, Skr. Bhaishajyaguru), and the Fourfould mandala offering (Dari ekhiin mandal shivaa) is performed in honour of Tara (Dari ekh, T. sgrol-ma, Skr. Tara). On the 10th Lovon chogo (T. slob-dpon-gyi cho-ga) is held in honour of Padmasambhava, and on the 15th Khandiin chogo (T. mkha’-‘gro’i cho-ga) is held to worship the dakinis. On the 25th of each month Khajidiin chogo is performed in honour of Narkhajid (T. na-ro mkha’-spyod). On the 29th Sakhius ceremony is held in honour of the Ten Protectors (Arvan khangal). Naidan chogo (T. gnas-brtan-gyi cho-ga) is performed on the 30th of each lunar month. Other sutras are recited at the request of individuals. The monastery has about 20 monks.
