Завхан аймаг Их-Уул сум. Юмын дуган Хуучин Сайн ноён хан аймгийн Далай Чойнхор вангийн хошууны хойд бие одоогийн Их уул сумын Зарт багийн нутаг Зартын голын баруун эх Мухарын нурууны ар Өртөнтийн ам хэмээх газар энэ дуган оршиж байжээ. Зарт багийн төвөөс баруун урагш 12 орчим км зайд дуганы туурь байна. 1870-1880 оны хооронд Зартын хүрээний жасаа хурал болж байгуулагдсан Юмын дуган нь мөнх зултай, байнгын тахилч ламтай сар жилийн дүйчэн өдрүүдэд Зартын хүрээнээс лам нар очиж хурдаг жасаа хурал байжээ. Уг дуган сар жилийн дүйчэн өдрүүдийн тохиосон хурлуудыг хурахаас гадна Далай Чойнхор вангийн хошууны Ар отгийнхны / Ар саарал адуутан баг , Ар хамжлага гол багийн / хүн ард мал идээг өсгөн үржүүлэхийн төлөө Банзрагч хэмээх номыг хэмжээгүй ихээр хурж байсан гэдэг. 1937 оноос өмнөхөн тус дуганд 4 лам сууж хурж байгаад Зартын хүрээ хаагдахын өмнөхөн уг дуганы хурал ном хаагджээ. Одоо дуганы туурийн орчим 30:18 м талбай бүхий хашааны туурь, уг том туурийн дотор 11:8 м хэмжээтэй нэг том туурь, дэргэд нь мөн 4:4 м хэмжээний дөрвөлжин туурь , 6м радиус бүхий хэмжээтэй дугуй байгууламжийн туурь тус бүр байдаг. Олдсон мэдээ баримтуудаас үзвэл Юмын дуган бие даасан хурал байгаагүй Зартын хүрээний харъяат жасаа хурлын дуган байжээ. Чухам энэ дуганы туурин дээр дугуй бөгөөд дөрвөлжин байгууламжийн туурь түүхийн ямар үед холбогдох , ямар байгууламжийн туурь болох нь тодорхойгүй байна. Description of location :
The site is located on the west bank of the Zartyn river in the area of Zart team area of Ikh Uul sum of Zavkhan province. The region is mountainous and forested. The Mukharyn mountain range is to the south and the peak facing the site directly from the south is called Urtunt. The river Zartyn runs along the west side of Urtunt peak. Water in the river is decreasing year on year. The Sukharyn mountain range is along the west side of the Urtunt. The sacred Mukharyn ovoo is on top of Sukharyn mountain. The site is 12Km to the south-west of the Zart Team centre. There are no other towns nearby. Herder families spend the summer and autumn months in the area.

Our guide knew the site very well so we found it easily. He says YUmiin temple was visible from the Zartyn centre, when he was a kid. Also he told us that in the 1940s the temple facilities were used for offices. There are signs of a fence marking an area 30M x18M at the site, but our guide does not believe it was for the temple and that it was put there when the temple was used as offices. Most of the temples we visited in this part of the county had marks of several houses and storage shelters but none had any signs of fences. So it is hard to say if the fence belonged to the original temple or it was added later. Within the fence marks there is a foundation measuring 8M x11M. In all likelihood this is the site of the main temple. But our guide said it might not be the main temple because the team centre had been built here, so it might belong to a building that was built later. Next to the foundation is the faded base outline of a ger around 5-6M in diameter but it can only be recognized by the difference in the grass colour. On the north-east side of these two outlines are the barely visible 4M x 4M outline of a building and a slightly uplifted area with some white rocks. According our guide this is the site of Yumyn dugan. However, it could not be proved one way or the other so we noted the information.

Notes :
1.At the temple the sutra that was recited is Yum (yum dkar) so the temple was called Yum’s temple. It is believed that this sutra recitation brings prosperity and welfare, so the locals were requesting and taking part in this recitation regularly.
2.It is hard to define the size of the temple and the site as the ground is now covered with grass.
