According to the leaflet of Shankh monastery the first city or monastery founded by Öndör Gegeen was situated on the place called Shireet Tsagaan nuur. It was founded in 1647, when he was 13 years old. He was enthroned in this place. In 1787 the complex moved to the place of Baruun khüree (see ӨХХХ 016 for details.)
