Description of location :
It occupies steppe rangeland. To the north of the site was a lake Nomtiin Us which is now dried up. To the east is a steppe called Bayanburd, to the south are lakes Uvst, Ulaan Lake and Shorvog Lake, and to the west is a stoop named Ulgii. The site is found 53 km. northeast of Murun sum centre.
