The site is situated in the high mountain region. It is 26 km far from the center of Khantai bag and 6 km of north bank of Eg river. Belseg temple`s site is 4 km from Kharganat site in the north side.

It is difficult to find the site place because of the thick and high grass and trees in the forest region. There are visible two earth dam foundations at the site place and we found them with the help of local guide.
