Description of location :
There are some large rocks along the rear of the site with elm trees on the east. Phone cables run though the area from the west to the south. No one could tell us the name of the area although the locals call it Munkh Kanjuur. Currently herder, Galsan, and his family live here.

Site status at the time of survey :
There are only very faint signs that a monastery once existed on this spot. Two ger bases can be seen on the site. There are some nicely decorated pieces of brick on the site. Herder Galsan’s winter residence (a cattle shelter and a mud house) are at the site.
