The site is located on flat land, the continuum of Butkharmag. Khongoryn ovoo is located 1Km away. Khongoryn Us well is on the south side of the site with the Khongoryn spring lying on the south-east side. It is 60Km from the sum centre. The 3rd bag’s area of Khuvsgul sum and Chuluut bag centre are visible from the site.

There are no signs left that any temple buildings, houses nor gers were once on this site. The only evidence that it was a temple site are the 2 rows of stones marking the paths that once surrounded the site. There are now very few people alive who can recall this site.
