Surrounding the area, the landmarks are: a spring called Khavstgaitiin Ue to the south of the temple site, “Uvur Bulag” spring 50 km. northwest of Zaamar sum centre and a pass called Nariin Khooloi to the southwest of Khavtsgain mountain.
