Description of location :
Located 24 km northeast of the Erdene sum centre and currently Erdene sum’s 4th brigade centre, the area has building remnants from the previous sum centre and a small community consisting of fences and buildings at the brigade centre. Surrounding mountains include, at the west Zaisan Khangai, at the north Baga Bayankhangai, to the east of the Ikh Bayankhangai mountains called Yargai and at the south Undur-Ulaan Khairkhan.

Between 1924 and 1972, the place served as the sum centre but from 1972 onwards the sum centre was moved to its current location. Traces of temples have faded away and are mixed with the previous sum centre’s buildings and current brigade community buildings.
