Description of location :
The site of Ovgon khuree is located 60Km to the north of the sum centre, up the Ongiin river. It is near Ulziit Ovoo, on a right bank of the Turyn river, which is a branch of the Ongiin river. Chandmani mountain is on the right side, Delgerkhangai mountain is on the north-east side. Ongiin KHoshuu khiid is on the east bank of the Ongiin river.

A corner of a temple remains on the Ovgon khuree site, and the rest is all gone. The construction was built with blue raw bricks. There are many broken pieces of vases at the site.
