Site status at the time of survey :
The place was not visited by the surveyors as nobody knew its exact site. Local people said that there is a place called Timent but it is impossible to reach because that is a sandy area. They haven’t heard about monastic site, which was situated there. However, in the museum of the centre of the Bürd Sum, there is a map, which shows the old monastic sites in the sum. This map (see picture 100-0133) presents a place called Tüment on that very place where Rinchen marked the temple on his map (Rinchen 848). Apart of a monastic site there was a Chinese commercial site as well. Unfortunately, nobody knew the exact site of it in the sum centre. However, it is worth visiting the sum again and look for people who could serve information about Timent. In the sum centre nobody knew about it.
