Дорноговь аймаг Мандах сум. Өлгийн хийд Мандах сумын нутагт байх Өлгийн хийдийг Сайшаалт ерөөлтийн 7-10-р он буюу 1802-1806 оны хооронд Өгий уулын ингэрт байгуулж Богд Жавзандамба хутагтаас “Жанчивтэгчилин” хийд хэмээн нэр шагнуулжээ.Хожим нь Богд хаант монгол улсын Олноо Өргөгдсөн 3-р он буюу 1913 онд Бодь Амгалант хийд хэмээх нэр авжээ.1920-иод оны сүүлчээр Өлгийн хийд нь Цогчин, Жүд. Манба, Ганжуурын дуган сахиусын дуган гэсэн 5 сүм дугантай 100 гаруй лам хуврагтай хийд байв.Энэ хийдэд цам гардаггүй байсан ба зуны эхэн сард Майдар эргэдэг, зуны адаг сард Хайлан хурдаг, намрын дунд сард Ганжуур эргэдэг байсан тухай мэдээ байна.1937 оны эхээр Өлгийн хийдийн хурал номыг сэргээсэн ба одоо 1 дугантай 3-4 лам хурж байна. /Өлгийн хийдийн тэргүүн Батмөнхтэй хийсэн ярилцлагаас 2007.07.03/
Description of location :
The site lies on the slope of Ulgii mountain with Bayan Ulaan mountain lying to the north-west of the site. Khorgo khairkhan is on the north-east side and there is a Dayanch (meditation) monk’s cave on the north-west side of the site.
