Site status at the time of survey :
Perhaps it was not a monastery or temple, but the researchers found there, between the newer ruins of the once sum centre of Bayanbaraat (existing till 1973) and the remained buildings and yurts that are used now by several families residing there, stone foundation (square shaped) and a foundation of a yurt, that were resembling the other monastery remnants that were found on real monastic sites. People living near the site showed the yurt foundation, and said it was a temple building when there was an active sum centre, in the 1960s, which is absolutely impossible. If it was a temple site, it must have been in the old times, before 1937. The only old man, Ad-Zana monk in Bayanönjüül sum, who showed the 7 monastic sites in the sum, and provided data on them said he had never heard that a temple was situated there.
